Festival founder and director Mark Page said “The Early Bird offer back in December was a great opportunity for people to get a cut price deal at £5 for our all day festival. Now currently at an advance price of £10, and then £15 on the day, we believe that this offer makes Humber Street Festival one of the most accessible events in the country. As a flagship event in City of Culture 2017, the programme of music, art and culture promises to be spectacular.”
Humber Street Sesh Marketing Coordinator, Elise Witty said, “We’re expecting a huge turnout in the City of Culture year and advise buying tickets in advance. Please don’t leave it to the day of the Festival as we cannot guarantee entry if we reach capacity beforehand.”
Humber Street Sesh is known as a festival for the people of Hull by the people of Hull. It was awarded Grassroots Awards for Outstanding New Festival and Mark Page, Outstanding New Promoter in 2015 and 2016, and was recognised by the industry with a nomination in the UK Festival Awards for Best Sized Medium Festival over 30,000 Cap.
