Andy Hastings + Guest
Andy has spent a decade or so foisting capital P-pop onto a Hull audience, from his time founding the club night Chewing Gum to booking iconic drag stars and empty helicopters for Spice Girls at Pride, plus occasionally popping up at Humber Street Gallery’s Plug It In night. He brought Christmas in August to Humber Street Sesh’s Silent Disco and might just do it again. Expect Carly Rae Jepsen, MUNA, Spice Girls, Missy Elliott, Robyn and One Direction.
Versus
Melody Harold
Melody’s a bonafide Hull city legend, having DJ’d for over 30 years, starting off at the legendary Romeo & Juliets back in the late 80’s, taken on residencies at the likes of Room and Rhythm Room, playing at esteemed club nights like Rewind and Room Saturdays. From presenting radio slots on Soul City FM and Sweet FM back in the early nineties and noughties, Melody’s all set to raise the roof at this year’s Silent Disco, playing an eclectic mix of party anthems from club classics to 80’s gems.
Sally Wilkinson
Again another legendary DJ from Hull’s vibrant nightlife, with over 30 years of experience on the turntables. Sally’s just about played every pub in the city, from having residencies at Punch and Bridges, to playing exclusive sets at the likes of Fuel and Propaganda. Well known, well-loved and looking forward to putting some Soul in to the mix for some proper old school singalong anthems.
