Introducing the BRAND NEW "Spiders From Mars" BIG TOP (capacity 1000).
Honouring the city's finest musicians, who supported David Bowie's 'Ziggy Stardust', we open the weekend on the Friday with a specially adapted production of 'Turn and Face The Strange', the story of Mick Ronson and the Spiders From Mars, and follow it up with a night of recent legends with psych rockers Black Delta Movement, ska/indie faves The Talks on their final ever show, and the return of our favourite son's of recent years, The Paddingtons.
The Saturday will be a real treat for those wanting to discover the very best emerging bands from across the UK that have played the weekly Sesh throughout the year, sprinkled with a few local favourites.
The Big Top is sponsored by long term supporters of The Sesh, and the talent pipeline of many of those involved in the day each year, Hull College. We thank them for their continued support.
Hull College is proud to be a major supporter of Humber Street Sesh, a partnership which will give our students the opportunity to gain valuable experience by working backstage throughout the event. As many of the performers are also current or past students, it's fantastic to help Sesh showcase the creative talent of our area which, as a college, we also work to champion.
