Festival organisers say that the structure of the 2-day event will champion their abiding principles which are to provide a platform for emerging talent and become the region’s talent pipeline.
Mark Page, Festival Founder and Director said “We are very excited about Sesh 2018. The festival has outgrown itself and after the huge success of 2017, we have acted on the public call for a two-day event. Friday night will feature past Sesh headliners with a few special guests. Our usual Saturday will stay true to our ethos of providing a powerful platform for the creative brilliance of this area and beyond”.
The festival site expansion will be beneficial on many levels.
Dave Mays, Festival Director said “As well, as providing a wider platform for artists, the bigger site will alleviate the intensity of the festival, allowing Humber Street and its businesses to breathe and operate at full potential. Site expansion will minimise disruption to marina businesses in terms of improved parking and noise management. Facilities will also be improved to enhance the festival experience.”
Elise Witty, HSS Communications and Sponsorship said “This is an exciting development for Sesh and we expect huge demand for 2018 wristbands for both days, particularly in light of the massive turnout this year. The Early Bird ticket is a popular, affordable Christmas gift of an awesome event.”
