Having DJ’d (and been a dancing monkey) alongside Hull DJ legends for many years and managed and owned nightclubs and bars across the city, Chris is at home anchoring Hull’s longest running (if slightly sporadic) Hip-Hop night ‘Hip-Hop Hooray’ at The People’s Republic, which he has done for the last 8 and a half years (COVID aside). Regular and guest vocal contributors including Motormouf, Harry Coins and Marx mean he has a lot of experience dealing with rappers, MCs and beatboxers, which will come in useful DJing on and helping Marx host the Hip-Hop karaoke stage.
