Downtown Kayoto is an artist/ producer originally from Zimbabwe, Victoria Falls, but raised in Hull.
Downtown's music morphs elements of indie, rap, pop and electronic together to create a pioneering sonic, inspired by the likes of Frank Ocean, Brockhampton, Tyler the Creator and many more.
Releasing music for the past 5 years, Downtown is truly carving out a unique lane for himself both sonically and creatively.
He has already enjoyed cos-signs from the likes of Pharrell, Wayno, Nick Grimshaw and Jessie Ware.
He has made a name for himself on socials for his creative eye after the dynamic rollout of his newest EP "Learning in Public" which he has continued to build on since. With captivating releases "Came Thru" and Trust U" gaining widespread editorial support and fanfare.
The stars are definitely aligning for the boundary-pushing artist.
