It’s rare that you meet a person with more of a passion for every aspect of a DJ’s life than Mark Park; whether it be a live performance, studio work, or radio shows with an unbridled love for dance music. It’s something he has dedicated himself to, and his infectious enthusiasm trickles down into every last beat.

Mark’s passion for music has progressed from funk, disco, garage, US & UK house to pretty much anything with an infectious beat. A dedicated, versatile DJ with wide musical experience and knowledge, capable of using creative mixing skills to motivate and control in a positive mode.

Finding his home in the US & UK house scene, citing influences from Graeme Park’s mixing style and music, he quickly found himself buying records and DJ’ing at private functions for friends and like-minded people.

After performing at various venues in his hometown of Pontefract (West Yorkshire) he decided it was time to move to the more vibrant scene in Leeds, where he could play his beloved house music en masse.

Mark first gained recognition for his mixing skills when The Foundry in Huddersfield launched their DJ competition where out of around two hundred entrants and six weekly heats Mark came a very worthy second place, soon after DJ magazine launched their prestigious Redemption DJ Competition where Mark was selected to play at one of their heats winning second place.

Since then, Mark has rapidly become a familiar name within the Gay club scene, holding many long-term residences.
