A cornerstone of the city's urban music scene for over two decades, RealBeats (also known as Reality?) is an internationally established DJ and host with an impressive track record at home and abroad.

With past appearances at major events and festivals across the UK and previously having held radio shows on BBC 1Xtra, RealBeats developed his skill set and earned his reputation in the urban music scene.

Locally supporting many of the high-profile acts to visit the city including Sean Paul, Fuse ODG, Stormzy, N-Dubz, Tinie Tempah, and Fatman Scoop, among many others.

Renowned for long-standing residencies at venues such as Sugar Mill and Revolution, his signature mix CDs became the soundtrack to going out for that generation and, depending on era, you may know him from other iconic local venues including The Adelphi, Asylum, Tofts, Fusion, Hockneys, Pozition, Piper, Welly, and Fuel.

Perhaps most notably, RealBeats is now the driving force and resident of JAMROCK, the city's longest-running monthly multicultural club night, currently celebrating its 20th year. Now, as a weekly resident at Waterfront, he is proud to continue to bring the very best in urban music to the next generation and new audiences every Saturday.
